Our end of season presentations and Annual General Meeting will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday 13 April 2019 @ Cook Oval.  There will be a number of awards given out including our Age Champions, Perpetual Trophies as well as some other special awards.  We will have a free BBQ and drinks for everyone as well as face painting, jumping castle and other activities to keep the kids occupied on the oval.  We will also hold our AGM during the presentations.  Please consider joining our committee to help assist with the development of the club and to ensure its smooth running.  A list of our committee positions which you can nominate for on the day can be found at the link Contact Us –> Our Committee.

How to Register for Season 2018-19

Registrations for the 2018-19 season commence on 15 August 2018 for children aged 5 to 17 years. Children must be turning 6 or older during 2019 to register.  Check the Age Calculator to determine the applicable age group.Fees for the 2018-2019 season are as follows (cost per athlete): first child $145, 2nd child $135, 3rd child $125, 4th child $115.Proof of age is required for all new athletes (those not previously registered with an ACTLAA affiliated centre).We continue to take registrations after the season has commenced. Registrations received after 20 October 2018 will be charged an administration fee of $10 per family. This fee will be receivable in cash only. A refund of registration fees will only be made if you advise our Registrar prior to the commencement of the season and will incur an administration fee of $10 per family, payable in cash. 

Please note: The age groups for Little Athletics are changing in 2018-19 to align with school sport age groups.  The change will only affect athletes with a birthday falling between 1st October and 31st December. These athletes will advance by two age groups at the commencement of the 2018-2019 season in October 2018.

Step 2 – Payment

Uniforms are also available for purchase via the on-line registration (with a 7.5% surcharge) or by cash payment at the registration day or immediately before the first meet.

Step 3 – Registration Kit

Come along to our registration day at Cook Oval on Saturday 29 September from 10:00am – 2:00pm, or pick up your kit immediately before the first meet on Saturday 13 October.

Each child will receive a registration kit, containing:

  • A registration number, age patch and sponsorship patch that need to be sewn onto the uniform;
  • Meet dates, and
  • Any uniforms that were ordered on-line.

ResultsHQ – How to view your Results

Last season the centre moved to the Timing Solutions online results system for storing all results information from regular season meets. Families can log in to review their childrens results across the season, print tickets for each performance (if desired) and generally see how they are improving over time. Results take a few days to enter into the system, with the exception of the races run on the straight track where the timing gate results are uploaded within a few hours of the meet. To access results families can log into ResultsHQ by following the steps set out at the following link: ResultsHQ Your username (for all children in your family participating) is the email address that you used to register this season. Passwords can be obtained by following the “forgot my password” process explained on the web page link above.   If you have any difficulties accessing ResultsHQ please email:

Season 2018/19 Results

BLAC uses an online system for storing and presenting the results of our athletes. Every family will be able to log in to the Timing Solutions ResultsHQ website to see results for their children and track performances across the season. Because this is the first time we are using the system we are learning its functions and full capabilities as we go along, so we appreciate your patience. Your username is the email address you provided when registering your child/children this season. Please follow the “if you do not know your password” process (step 2. below) to retrieve your password for logging in. Any athlete registered with a Little Athletics ACT Centre in the ages U12 to U17 can also join Athletics ACT as a dual member. This will allow athletes to compete at Athletics ACT events. Please click here for all the details on dual registration.

What is Little Athletics?

Belconnen Little Athletics Centre (BLAC) has been running for over 40 years, and is part of the ACT Little Athletics Association (ACTLAA). Little Athletics aims to promote and foster athletics amongst children and young people, through friendly competition in a well-run, safe, enjoyable family environment. We encourage the development of skills and fitness in children of all levels of ability. Little Athletics is not focused on identifying elite athletes, although we do foster talent. There is a place for everyone at Little Athletics.
